Rhyme...and Treason

So yeah, I'm going with David's suggestion. What can I say, I like puns. Plus, it was his idea.

I even made a groovy image for the occasion.

So, off we go with the second installment. Have it this lyric, from "Time" by Pink Floyd.

Wasting away the moments that make up a dull day
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your hometown...

readygo

Chert chimed in first with:
Don't want to sound
Grittier than thou
But I didn't even have a
Spacehopper to call my own.

Then Chewy got on board with:
Skating away on the thin ice of a new day.

While I was editing the others in, David got on the board:
You feel like a king, but you can't find your crown.

    Oh, I'm sorry, wrong band.

Congrats on moving up the list!

Does town and own rhyme with your accent? :D

Does it matter if it's a different band? That's half the fun here.

And thanks. Told you I was breathing down your neck. Heh.

Now that doesn't rhyme at all! ;) Thanks.

  6. Hi Bart-Man,

It's working well, I reckon. Nice logo, too. Very distinctive, so your readers can spot it at a glance while scrolling.

    Here's my entry:

``You feel like a king, but you can't find your crown''.

    Cheers

Excellent timing, I was just going through the responses! Thanks for the kudos, and that's a pretty good contribution in and of itself. See you around the tubes of the internets.

  8. Hi Bart-Man,

Just realised that the link to my blog here (and on your previous Rhyme and Treason post) don't actually go to http://david-mcmahon.blogspot.com/ but they got to authorblog.blogspot.com which is not my site!

Not a big problem, but I thought you might enjoy the quirk!
    Look after those azaleas.

    Cheers
    David

  9. Being of the Summer of 76 cadre, I am happy to savage Pink F lyrics at the drop of a hat, because we're so prretty, oh so prrretty, vaacant, and we don't caaaaaaaaaare. Tinkle boing crash.

  10. Hi Bart-Man,

Great to see some much interaction on the Rhyme and Treason game.

Good on you. You deserve it.

    Cheers

Feel free to comment. So that I may respond and possibly mock and ridicule you. Just kidding. Maybe. We'll see what you say first, how about that.
