I'm a Marketing Genius

With all these new low-cal hydrators hitting the market, like Gatorades G2, completely marketing themselves as having lower calories as the "in game" hydration drinks, or whatever, I think I can make a killing.

I'm gonna sell my tap water.

Here you go folks. Natural hydration, with zero calories! YOU CAN'T LOSE!

Christ, people are stupid. Drink water, take a separate vitamin. Unless you're an athlete, you don't really "need" Gatorade. Even the low cal stuff.

  1. you're only a marketing genius until someone protests your pushing of dihydrogen monoxide, a substance which has been proven to be a lethal :)

  2. Breaking news - rats given sugar eat less and get slimmer than rats given 'lo-cal' saccharine.

I'm going to go for marketing 'hi-sug' because - because I desperately need to get rich.

Either that or bottled air, the ultimate non-consumable consumer good.

  3. On the side of a 12-pack of Coke Zero, it indicates that you can drink the stuff for hydration purposes after working out.

Never mind the diuretic properties of caffeine, right?

  4. I swear, the American population will buy anything as long as it's packaged pretty & we act like it's something amazing.

  5. Put it this way... a lot of bottled water is just tap water from a municipal source... so you are on solid ground with this idea.

Feel free to comment. So that I may respond and possibly mock and ridicule you. Just kidding. Maybe. We'll see what you say first, how about that.
