Photo Hunt: Road

I finally took one specifically for the assignment! And I thought like good ol' David McMahon taught me too...go for the weird angle. Which TOTALLY got me a weird look from a motorist as I rolled out of the way. I'm sure he was wondering why the lunatic was laying face down in the middle of the road...

Photo Hunt: Wrinkled

Now, you might look at this photo, and think "wrinkled?" But look at Rasta Ralphie's face. And yes, I swear that's his name. For a guy of obvious age, he sure keeps good care of his body, eh?

Also, this picture was taken not long after this incident. And not by me, by Jessie, so credit goes to her. I was probably still contemplating death.

Photo Hunt: Dark

Dark room...only light coming from sparse Christmas lights, the computer monitors, and the light from outside the room.

Photo Hunt: Cloud(s)

Ah, clouds. I likey the clouds. Here's a shot from an impending torrential thunderstorm before an Orioles game last August:

Then there's this shot, taken out of car window while running an errand.

And the coup de grace, a shot from an airplane window while en route to Vegas.

Photo Hunt: Hanging

Two for the price of one. Not only that, these both occurred on the same day. We no nuts, we crazy. For all those curious people who don't seem to understand what it is we're hanging off of based on the comments I've gotten so far, it's truss. Next time you go to a rock show or some other event where lights and backdrops and such have to be hung but there isn't a place to hang them proper, look up. You'll see a lot of truss.

Photo Hunt: Emotion(s)

Here we go with this weeks Photo Hunt for me. I bevy of emotion. On the left is my coworker Mike, who really really looooves to get his photo taken, on the right, a student employee Jessie who can't help but smile when a camera is pointed in her direction. Kind of an interesting study in contrasting emotions when faced with the same situation, eh?

Photo Hunt: Bad Hair

My entry once again plays it fast and loose with the concept of "bad hair." See, as I see it, that cat toy is hairy. And my cat (then a kitten) was definitely taking a swipe at it. As if to say "you are some bad hair. Take that."

Photo Hunt: Shoes

Shoe's, eh? I have two that I wish to inflic...I mean, share with you all.

A macro of my coworker's shoe, as he sat at his desk...

and...

Another coworker's shoe, as he paced outside while talking on the phone.

Photo Hunt: Candy

I'm definitely stretching the limits of this one, but this was too good too pass up. This photo to me, represents...eye candy. I laughed SO hard when seeing this on the road, and a good personalized license plate is eye candy to me. So here you go...this weeks Photo Hunt photo...a person with a 21st Century sense of humor, taken with a camera phone two days ago:

Also, for my regular readers...I'm thinking about doing a weekly Orioles/general MLB post, with my own brand of humor. A regular feature. Whatcha think? Do I even have regular readers anymore?

Photo Hunt: Anything We Darn Well Pleased.

So, for this weeks foray in to the Photo Hunt, I chose this picture I took way back when I first got my PowerShot S3 IS, testing out the macro. Wires coming off the end of a cooling fan sitting on the shelf at my bench at work. Looks like they're stretching out ta grab ya. This was one of the first shots I took where I really thought to myself...hey, I can do this photography thing a little bit.

There you have it.

Photo Hunt: Time

This seems like fun, plus a good way to keep me shooting. So here we go.

I was actually shooting the classic Bromo Seltzer Tower in Baltimore, but obviously the clock tower right next to it is in the shot. Figured this would be a nice deviation from some standards.
