This seems like fun, plus a good way to keep me shooting. So here we go.
I was actually shooting the classic Bromo Seltzer Tower in Baltimore, but obviously the clock tower right next to it is in the shot. Figured this would be a nice deviation from some standards.
Flo - Today is not a waste, for you learned something new. Indeed, if you google it, you may see shots when it still had the Bromo Seltzer logo on it. But us Balmerese still refer to it as the Bromo Seltzer tower. You used to be able to see it clearly from the ballpark, but a new hotel now blocks that view. Oh well.
Dan, I've told you repeatedely that I don't actually have super powers. Stop trying to get me to join your cadre of heroes. I'd just be a drag on your group...like Aquaman.
katney - thanks! Yep, that was my first one. Like I said it seemed like something fun that would keep me shooting, or at the very least, digging through my archives.
It's lovely how they both compliment each other in the photo :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Made for a beautiful shot - love the color in the photo.
ReplyDeleteexcellent photo
ReplyDeleteVery nice. The clock may have been in the shot by accident, but it looks good there.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I you want to see mine, don't bother with the Blogger link. Go here: http://aliceaudrey.wordpress.com/2008/05/02/times-up/

ReplyDeleteHappy Hunting. Mine is up here.
That's a great photo, but I must admit that I did not know there was a Bromo Seltzer tower! Hmm... you learn something new every day :)
ReplyDeleteMine is up over at Flo's Place
That is a really cool shot. They compliment and contrast each other.
ReplyDeleteAnd your interview with David for the Sunday Roast is great too. Even though it is still Saturday here (UK). ;0)
I saw your interview on David's blog and I thought I would stop by and say "Hi!".
ReplyDeleteNap- I'd love to say I did that on purpose. Happy accident.
ReplyDeleteJulie - welcome, hope to see you back, and thank you!
ReplyDelete-tnchick - Yeah, that's what drew me to take the photo in the first place, after an Orioles game. I saw how it was lit, and had to get it captured.
ReplyDeletesarge - welcome, and thank you.
ReplyDeletealice - Like I said, happy accident!
ReplyDeleteCWM - Yeah, I love the color too, as mentioned before. I really got lucky.

ReplyDeletekatney - thanks! Yep, that was my first one. Like I said it seemed like something fun that would keep me shooting, or at the very least, digging through my archives.
