Greetings and salutations, sports fans. Time for another wild and woolly edition of Rhyme...and Treason.
This week, straight from the days of yore (which, as we know, is before "back in the day"), we have the first stanza of "All Around the Mulberry Bush." You know the drill...I'll leave out the last line, and you fill it in for me, just leave a comment with your entry. Friday I'll judge you based on my awesome sliding scale and determine a winner.
All around the mulberry bush
The monkey chased the weasel.
The monkey thought 'twas all in fun.
Pop!...

Pop! Goes the weasel 'cuz the weasel goes pop!
ReplyDeleteA penny for a spool of thread,
A penny for a needle.
A penny for the local taxman,
Who wears a too-tight Speedo!
Pop! Goes his virginity.
ReplyDeleteIs that feasible?
Was the monkey weasible?
Seems so...
MORAL : Don't do anything in fun, with weasels.
All around the mulberry bush

'went his knee cap when OJ hit with a baseball bat'
I've got nothing. (Surprise, surprise. But you just made me remember the episode of Friends when Phoebe hates Pottery Barn but Rachel loves it, so Rachel keeps coming home with all this Pottery Barn stuff for their apartment, and telling Phoebe she found it at a flea market, treasures from "yore" and "yesteryear." LOL
