Liver problems. They gave us an estimate of what it would cost to test and treat, and even the best case end of the spectrum of the best case scenario was about 1200. High end of the best case was over 3 grand, and it could have been something else. Vet said it was mostly likely fat deposits in the liver, but they could have taken pictures and found a huge tumor. I think maybe if there was an absolute guarantee that hospitalization and treatment was going to get her healthy, we might have tried to make the money work. But you can't even do that with humans.

I think that was one of the most upsetting parts, really. That, and like Jessie remarked last night to me, it just happened too fast. We got to spend some time with her before, but we got there about 6:40 and were leaving around 8. I didn't think about that until she said something, but yeah, it was like, wham bam.

Feel free to comment. So that I may respond and possibly mock and ridicule you. Just kidding. Maybe. We'll see what you say first, how about that.
