Bart's Eye View

Here's a lovely shot of the stage at the TU Athletic Awards Banquet today. Not all that exciting, really.

However, I tried to take this next shot from the podium looking out to the house (which is basically just the arena converted to a banquet hall), and found out that my camera really doesn't like the focused beams of stage lighting.

So, I decided to see if I could get any neat shots. And I did. Check this out.
That's pretty bad ass if you ask me.

Til next time, faithful few.

  2. Heya Ethel. Ectoplasmic presence, eh? I'll have to call my good friends, Drs. Spengler and Stantz about that. Hopefully they don't tell their screwed up friend Venkman.

That halo effect is really interesting and weird, huh? It would change based on the angle of the camera or how many lights were in frame.

  3. That's what headlights look like if you've had contact lenses in for 16 hours when trying to drive home at night. And then, even though you only had 2 beers four hours ago, you keep thinking subconsciously that you're d.w.i.

  4. Hi Bart,

Very neat shots indeed. Love the halo effect.
Like looking at the lunar module while suffering a monster hangover....

    Cheers

Feel free to comment. So that I may respond and possibly mock and ridicule you. Just kidding. Maybe. We'll see what you say first, how about that.
