In response to the huge penguin fascination, Christopher Nolan is going to add The Penguin to his highly anticipated sequel to Batman Begins, The Dark Knight. The movie already features Heath Ledger as The Joker, and Aaron Eckhart is cast as DA Harvey Dent, who will eventually become Two-Face in the mythology.
Again...not remotely true. But with this penguin obsession, lately, it wouldn't surprise me, either. Actually it would, since Nolan has some integrity.
Also, still need ideas for the new feature. I got one suggestion that I'm not crazy about.
On a different tack, "Bart's Weekly Flyting". Choose a word at random and invite your readers to do a 1-photo snark-fest.
ReplyDeleteWikipaedia: "Flyting: a contest of insults, often contested in verse"
Penguins, fellow bloggers: fair game while the traps are open.
Insist on the verse.
Maybe that is a little rough.
ReplyDeleteBut my next best idea was "The Line lies down with the Iamb".
That must deserve a shoeing, surely?
"I" as in Iambic. Oh Lor.
ReplyDeleteHi folks,
ReplyDeleteJust thought I'd let you know that Melbourne was actually founded by John Batman.
'Tis true.
Love ya work
David
Chert - SPAMMER! Only kidding. Flyting looks like a typo to me, can't shake that notion.
ReplyDeleteI once wrote a work email in iambic pentameter. It went unappreciated.
David - That's AWESOME! You really need to watch that. You'll explode.
ReplyDeleteIf I were that guy, I'd so go around all the time going, "I'M BATMAN. I'M BATMAN."
An email in iambic pentameter... You crack me up.
ReplyDeleteHow about calling it:
Verse Vibrations
Verse Variations
Variety Verse
Or do it every Friday and call it Friday Finish, Friday Finishes
Deborah - Good suggestions, all, but I think I'm going with David's Rhyme and Treason suggestion. I like puns.
ReplyDeleteBart -
ReplyDeleteLove Rhyme and Treason - its perfecTt!
