However, I'm glad they did something.
Goodbye Sam Perlozzo. You were an excellent coach, but a horrible manager. I'll have fond memories of you sprinting to the third base coach's box. I'll have bad memories of your insistence to over use bullpens and the inexplicably poor bench you thought was essential, and how you let the inmates run the asylum.

Good luck in future endeavors.
So he's definitely out, huh? How about Kevin Millar for player-manager? Whiskey all around!

ReplyDeleteNo "official" word (press conference in 25 minutes) but all the word coming out of the front office points to him being out, Dave Trembley being promoted to interim manager, and get this: them courting Joe Girardi to take over. I'll believe that one when I see it, though.
Angelos shoulda been the one to get fired.

ReplyDeletePerhaps, but how do you fire an owner?
I also think Terry Crowley, the hitting coach, has to go, and has had to go for awhile now.
The Girardi rumor is still swirling. What do you think about him coming to Baltimore?
ReplyDeleteI think he could do good, but you're slightly behind the times. He's hit multiple sports talk shows today saying he said no.
